Anonymous delivers.

So what is all of this about? It’s about the Internet. Here in this Empire of dirt, wires, and tubes, everyone is anonymous. There is no ruler, there is no permanence. What was here yesterday was built upon today and will be torn down again tomorrow, only to be rebuilt again the next day into what it was a hundred years ago.

There is no ruler. Nobody could rule the Internet, except maybe Anonymous. Yet what feels like complete anarchy is exactly what the world should strive to be. A world without leaders, without rules, because they are not needed. A world where man’s word and deed are Legend.

Yes, I’m mixing my memes, but one can dream. Anonymous does not forgive. Anonymous does not forget. Because none of us are as cruel as all of us. But I can dream. This is my space. My blip on the nonexistent radar. My blog among all the others. My unique snowflake, just like all the others.

This is my site, and as long as I’m allowed to post here, I can control the streams to some small extent. Anonymous may come along and destroy this site, but I can always make another. This site has an address, but that address means very little. And this is how the Internet works.

It works without regulation because it is regulated by the very people who make it up. I pay my money for my connection. I pay my money for my hosting. I obey their rules or I get the boot. You obey my rules for comments or whatever, or you get the boot. Unlike the real world, moving is just a few bytes away. Unlike the real world, another website is just a few bytes away. You have a choice and in that choice is your power. I can choose what I put here. You can choose not to read my works.

I hope to continue this blog for at least a few months, and I have already been thinking of things to write about concerning this here Empire. I will strive to be more coherent in future posts, but I just wanted to get something started tonight. I did promise to start four days ago after all. Ah, well. That itself is another topic.

Let’s hope I can do better in the future.
